How do I wash a Goretex Jacket? |
Answer:
Firstly it depends how dirty it is. If it's not too bad then you'de be best wiping it clean with a damp cloth. However if it's passed that stage then you can wash it, just make sure your DON'T use biological deturgants as this will strip the waterproofing. Instead use either Grangers 2 in 1, or Nikwax Tech Wash which you can put in your washing machine. |

What's best for a 3 day expedition - Trangia system, or a Personal Jet Boil?

Answer:
There's several things to think about when buying cooking systems for your expedition. But in a nut shell some of the main differences are price, generally Jet Boils are more expensive, however they are 75% efficient, therefore faster at boiling, and more leightweight. Also the Jet Boil personal Cooking system doesn't come with a frying pan and can only hold 1 litre of water. So they both have their advantages and disadvantages. |

What is access land and what can/can't I do on it? |
Answer:
The right to roam act varies in every country. But in the UK the legislation was set up in 2000 and allows the public to roam accross areas of mountain, heath, moor, or downland which is mapped. They don't strictly have to stick to footpaths. There aresome restrictions with this which can be found on the Natural England website. |

Oakley's produce probably some or the best quality sunglasses on the market. They offer a wide range of glasses from casual to sport to perscription glasses. They are produced from a material which they developped which they boast i bullet proof. Therefore you'd expct them to be quite durable.
